New this year, the Cherokee Summer Concert Series is a lineup of shows at the Cherokee Fair Grounds on select Fridays and Saturday, with popular headliners including Edwin McCain, Colt Ford, Kevin Locke, Eve 6, The Kentucky Headhunters, Drive-By Truckers, and Uncle Si & The Sicotics.

You’re invited to celebrate Cherokee culture at the 22nd annual Cherokee Voices Festival on Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Museum of the Cherokee Indian. Now in its 22nd year, the Cherokee Voices Festival is a free daylong event bringing to life 11,000 years of Cherokee tradition in the southern Appalachians, and highlighting the Cherokee people carrying on these traditions. This event is made possible by the Museum of the Cherokee Indian and the North Carolina Arts Council.

This is the story of Charles George, a Cherokee hero who displayed outstanding courage and gave his own life to defend his nation and save his friends while serving in the Korean War.

Gather around a crackling fire in Cherokee, NC, and hear stories from the beginning of time. The Cherokee Bonfire is back! This event series is free and open to the public, only this year it's bigger than ever, with more days added to the season. 

The Museum of the Cherokee Indian welcomes a new exhibit, “People of the Clay: Contemporary Cherokee Potters,” featuring more than 60 Cherokee potters and more than a hundred pieces of pottery from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Cherokee Nation, from 1900 to the present. Open now until May 2020.
