The Cherokee Bonfire is a free event at the Oconaluftee Island Park featuring Cherokee storytellers. Join us on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 7 to 9 pm, June 1 through October 31.

The Indigenous Walls Projects seeks to amplify native voices through a series of public art installations around Asheville, NC. Indigenous artists are encouraged to apply to paint a mural on the donated wall space, which has grown to over 20,000 square feet. 

Meet the seven members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) who will retrace the northern route of the Trail of Tears on bicycle, traveling 950-miles from New Echota, Georgia to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, as part of the upcoming Remember the Removal ride.
