The 19th annual Cherokee Voices Festival takes place on Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Immerse yourself in Cherokee culture, through dance, music, storytelling, and arts and crafts. You’re invited to experience it all at the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, at this wonderful free event that's sponsored by the North Carolina Arts Council and the Museum of the Cherokee Indian.

For the last fourteen years, artists and gourd enthusiasts have traveled to Cherokee for the annual Cherokee Gourd Artists' Gathering. Attendees come from all over the United States and Canada for this popular event featuring an array of gourd art classes and workshops that sell out quickly. Master gourd artists teach classes from beginner to advanced levels, exploring techniques including coloring, painting, wood burning or pyrography, relief carving, weaving, and more to create one-of-a-kind functional and decorative gourd art. Whether you attend as a spectator or come to learn, you'll be amazed at all the creativity on display! 

Learn all about the 2016 Cherokee Bluegrass Festival, a fun weekend of live bluegrass music that will take place June 2 – 4 in Cherokee, NC. This event will feature some of the finest bluegrass musicians found anywhere today, including Rhonda Vincent, Larry Sparks, Grand Ole Opry star Mike Snider, and International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainer of the Year winners The Gibson Brothers and Balsam Range.
